Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Vero Lab (“we”, “us”) collects through verolabnz.com, why, and what you can do about it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Who we are

Vero Lab is operated by Yiwu Qumin Trading Company. For any privacy question or request, contact us through our enquiry form.

What we collect, and why

When you order: your name, email, phone, delivery address, your name on Skool and what you bought. We use these to process, ship and support your order, and to send your payment link in our Skool community. Payment is made through Skool; we never see or store your card or wallet details.
After you order: we may email you once to ask for a review of your order, and once about a month later with a link to order again. Both have a one-click unsubscribe.
When you start checkout but don’t finish: your email and the items in your cart, so we can send up to two reminder emails. Every reminder has a one-click unsubscribe. These records are deleted after 90 days.
When you send an enquiry: your name, email, the product you asked about and your message, so we can reply.
When you sign up for the welcome discount: your email, to confirm it and send your code.

Analytics and tracking

To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use:

Google Analytics: pages visited, how you arrived, device and approximate location, and when an order is paid, its value and items.
Microsoft Clarity: how visitors move, click and scroll, including session replays. Clarity hides anything typed into forms.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API: records visits and shop actions so we can measure advertising. When an order is paid, we tell Meta about the purchase, including your email and phone number in hashed (scrambled, unreadable) form so it can be matched to an ad you saw.

These tools use cookies and similar technology. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Google offers an opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The site also uses essential cookies to keep your cart and checkout working, and loads a review widget from Trustpilot.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop: our website host (WordPress.com), Skool (where you pay, and where we send your payment link), our email provider (Resend), Discord (where our team receives notifications of new orders and enquiries, in a private channel), the courier delivering your order, and the analytics tools above. Some of them store data outside New Zealand. We don’t sell your information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Abandoned-cart records are deleted after 90 days. Other information is kept only as long as we need it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, through our enquiry form. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top.
