How to compare peptide suppliers in New Zealand

The sticker price on a vial is the least useful number on the page. Here is what to compare instead, and what should make you walk away.

New Zealand now has a number of research peptide suppliers, and their prices, stock and paperwork vary a lot. Most comparisons stop at the price of one vial. That is the easiest number to compare and usually the least useful. These are the six things worth checking, in order, for any supplier, including us.

1. Compare price per mg, not price per vial

Vials come in different sizes, so the vial price alone tells you very little. Divide the price by the total milligrams: a 10mg vial at $150 is $15 per mg; ten 10mg vials for $800 is $8 per mg. Multi-vial kits are almost always cheaper per mg, often by a wide margin.

For example, our Retatrutide works out from $4.17 per mg on the 30mg × 10 vials. Every product page and New Zealand page on this site shows the per-mg price beside each size, so the comparison is already done.

2. Check the certificate is real, and current

A certificate of analysis is only worth something if you can check it. Look for:

  • A named, independent laboratory — not the seller testing itself.
  • A task or report number and a verification key, so you can open the laboratory’s own copy and compare it with the seller’s.
  • The right compound and size, and a recent date rather than one certificate reused for years.
  • Both purity and content figures. Purity says how clean the sample is; content says how much is actually in the vial.

How to do the check step by step: verifying a laboratory report, and how to read a certificate of analysis.

3. Where the stock actually is

“New Zealand supplier” can mean stock on a shelf here, or an order placed with an overseas factory after you pay. Stock held in New Zealand ships as an ordinary domestic parcel. Stock coming from overseas takes longer and can be held at the border. Ask where the parcel will be sent from, not where the business is.

4. The real total, delivered

Add shipping, and check for free-delivery thresholds, kit pricing and anything included free. A cheaper vial with expensive shipping is not cheaper. Make sure prices are in New Zealand dollars, so nothing is converted at checkout.

5. Can you reach a person, and do others vouch for them?

Look for reviews on an independent platform rather than only on the seller’s own site, and for a way to reach a real person quickly, by email or a community, before and after you order.

6. Red flags

  • No certificate at all, or a certificate with no lab name, report number or verification key.
  • One certificate shown for every size and every batch.
  • Prices far below everyone else’s, especially per mg.
  • Advice on dosing or use. A research supplier should not be giving it.
  • No clear answer on where the parcel ships from.
